A candidate receives training in
professional skills and knowledge, engineering drawing, workshop calculation
and science, and employability skill relevant to the job function throughout
the course of painting safety. Participants in the training will be able to
identify and comply with safe working procedures. They will also learn the
distinction between hazardous and non-hazardous products, as well as the
functions of several pieces of firefighting gear. The method of cleaning and
painting a metal surface in order to apply a preventative coating will be
taught to the trainees.
